BREAKING: Ondo Records Second Positive Case of Coronavirus

Report reaching theophiluscorner.blogspot.com indicates that Ondo state has recorded second suspected positive case of Coronavirus.
The second case of COVID-19 was allegedly discovered at Ijoka area of Akure today.
Confirming this to our reporter, a medical officer who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the patient had been transferred to the state Infectious Disease Hospital, along Igbatoro road, Akure.
“Pls people lets be careful and take every precautionary step, a second case of COVID-19 has been reported in Akure and I got an information that the person has been admitted at the infectious disease centre
along igbatoro road.”
However, the state Commissioner for information, Donald Ojogo said he had not been briefed of the development while the state commissioner for health, Dr Wahaab Adegbenro is yet to pick calls to t
is telephone line as at the time of this report.

Another student raped and murdered in Ibadan

Barakat was found dead at the back of her house. A 19-year-old lady, identified as Barakat Bello, has been gang raped and murdered in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital. reports has it that the incident occurred on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in the Akinyele area of Ibadan. Barakat was a student of the Institute of Agriculture, Research and Training, Ibadan. Barakat’s sister found her lifeless body behind their home.
