Breaking News: Fire Guts World Trade Center in Abuja

The World Trade Center in Abuja, on Monday morning went up in flames. The reason behind the fire outbreak is yet to be known but smoke could be seen billowing from one of the buildings. According to a tweet by the Federal Fire Service some of its officials are already at the scene of the incident. The centre is located in the Central Business District (CBD) in the federal capital territory (FCT).

Another controversial arrest sparked Black Lives Matter protests in Pennsylvania after a police officer was caught on video putting his knee on a black man's neck during an arrest.   The video of the arrest was recorded on Saturday afternoon, July 11, outside of St. Luke’s Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown.  The viral video shows three officers forcefully trying to get the man arrested with one them holding him down with his face against the pavement, while another knelt on the man’s neck, in the same position that led to the death of  George Floyd in Minneapolis back in May.  Allentown police have not released the man's identity or information as to what led up to the incident. Ibadan ‘One Million Boys’ gang leader, Ebila shot dead

Biola Ebila, said to be the leader of notorious ‘One Million Boys’ gang in Ibadan has been shot dead.    The gang leader who was on the wanted list of Oyo police command, was shot dead around Olomi area of Ibadan on Sunday July 12,  after resisting attempts to arrest him by officials of Operation Burst, an Oyo State Joint Security Outfit.   Ebila met his waterloo after he and his gang members went to kidnap a man simply identified as "Femi".  It was gathered after the shoot-out, the gang members escaped with Ebila's dead body in a car and then took the lifeless body to Kudeti which they showed to other members who did not follow them for the operation.   They unleashed pandemonium on Kudeti thereafter before driving the corpse to an unknown destination.    Oyo police spokesperson, Olugbenga Fadeyi confirmed Ebila’s death and also told The Sun that some of his followers wanted to fome...
